Jeff Nielson
Principal – Corporate Identity Designer
Jeff is responsible for managing the brand strategy and visual design across all aspects of client marketing programs. His unique blend of design talent and marketing experience enable him to give clients a professonal image that makes them proud.
With over 15 years as a professional corporate identity designer, Jeff has worked on a wide variety of projects ranging from brand and corporate identity design, web design, print and packaging.
Prior to founding Nielson Design Jeff worked as a senior designer for Liquid Agency, a highly regarded brand/marketing agency in San Jose that works with fortune 500 companies.
Before Liquid, Jeff worked as a designer and illustrator for Fierro Design where he designed and illustrated Duraflame’s Crackleflame and Colorflame packaging and created marketing materials for many businesses in the produce industry. Jeff has a B.S. in Applied Art and Design from Cal Poly State University and has completed many marketing courses at the University of Santa Cruz.
Ben Foden
Associate – Web Marketing and Development
Ben specializes in branding and is responsible for understanding the needs of clients before design and development begins. He applies his unique perspective and collaborates with Jeff to craft a clear direction and positioning for clients.
He has worked with the premier Silicon Valley naming agency, Brighter Naming, for over 5 years developing distinctive and clear names and taglines that best position wide ranging products and businesses within their markets.
Recently Ben has created the brand and written copy across four web properties of Nota, Inc. a small but rapidly growing venture-backed startup.
Ben has a B.A. in Business Administration with an International Concentration from Whittier College and is the proud recipient of several awards for academic excellence and leadership in the major. He is an active participant in the social media sphere and keeps on top of the latest trends, tools, and opportunities available for clients.
